Meet the Owner
Sarah, is a highly accomplished professional with a first class business degree and extensive experience in managing businesses in a variety of sectors. In 2009, she made the bold decision to establish her own bookkeeping business, the award-winning Women Who Count (WWC).
Sarah’s true passion lies in educating her clients about finance and she firmly believes that a skilled bookkeeper can truly transform the lives of small business owners by providing them with invaluable insights into their finances.
Appreciating the significance of reliable financial information for small businesses, Sarah also holds the position of CEO at the Institute of Accountants and Bookkeepers (IAB). In this role, she not only passes on her knowledge to other finance professionals but also helps them develop their businesses to deliver exceptional service and support to business owners.
Sarah’s roles at WWC and the IAB naturally align as she actively takes part in the lobbying of legislation within the industry, participating in HMRC consultations to influence and gain support for the finance community and business owners.
With her relaxed and approachable manner, Sarah is a driving force in empowering both her clients and fellow finance professionals to achieve success.
Meet the Team
Kerry Wale
Kerry is a Senior Bookkeeping at Women Who Count. She has extensive experience within the banking sector, including in Management and as a qualified Mortgage Consultant with full CEMAP qualifications. Kerry is a Fellow of IAB and, due to her experience in pensions and taxation, also represents the IAB at several of the Payroll Working groups within HMRC.
Sylvia Irving
Sylvia is a Client Manager; her background is an Executive PA and Office manager within the Investment Banking and Private Client Sector of the Insurance Industry. Sylvia is MIAB qualified and when not in the office will take every opportunity to disappear off in her camper van with her dogs, Boogie and Squid!
Marisca Janse Van Rensburg
Marisca holds a BA in Education and Psychology and Masters of Business Administration. Aside from being responsible for the bookkeeping of various clients, she also manages the daily office administration and implementation of projects, such as the of B-Corp movement, within the company. When not in the office she enjoys cooking and a good old DIY project!
Nina Wheat
Nina is an FCCA qualified accountant and previously worked within the private sector for SME’s in manufacturing, grounds maintenance and more recently within the education sector. Nina has extensive experience in the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, budgets, payroll and statutory compliance. When not in work, Nina is a Parish Councillor serving the community where she lives, to maintain and enhance the local environment and volunteers at a local youth group.
Victoria Staveley
Victoria has a background in administration and marketing, but changed direction after she started a family. She has a small portfolio of clients, looking after their bookkeeping and management accounts. She is currently studying for her Self Assessment qualification. Outside of Bookkeeping, Victoria enjoys paddle boarding, spending time with her family and travelling.
Natasha Bygrave
Natasha is the Payroll Manager and has 15 years payroll experience. She is analytical, with an eye for detail and naturally evaluates and deciphers complex information and data. In her free time, Natasha enjoys being outside, walking, climbing, mountains and spending time with her family.
